Our extensive experience building and working here has allowed us to become well accustomed to the design review process and develop a strong relationship with the county building department. One of the company’s projects in 2019 is this complete home remodel in East Los Angeles featuring an open floor plan and all new hardwood floors, custom windows, and doors. The remodeled kitchen features semi-custom shaker cabinets and quartz countertops, with a bar area that doubles as a laundry area.

At Bauer Custom Homes, we work with Kittitas County to obtain the permits required for your custom home build. Situated between a canyon road and a hillside in the Santa Monica Mountains, the home follows the land’s gradual slope, with the eastern end of the home floating three feet over the canyon floor. Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the property, allowing access to the magnificent outdoor views of the home. One of the firm’s unforgettable projects was an extensive remodeling work for a mid-century modern home in Studio City. Built on a 9,600-square-foot lot with around 3,000-square-feet of interior space, the project is a perfect example of Ester’s design prowess and Avi’s expert building techniques. The home features an open concept floor plan, a great room with vaulted ceilings, a spacious kitchen, and high-tech smart home technology. To create an open floor plan suited for entertaining, this home was designed with tons of space, featuring wide hallways, large closets, custom built-ins, and numerous windows. Matte black and brass elements were incorporated into the design finishes to blend with the traditional cape cod features of the home.
